Payment Operations Lead - Remote

Overview

As the Payment Operations Lead, you will be responsible for developing innovative financial operational solutions, analyzing and improving approval rates and financial analytics. You will bridge technology and finance, significantly contributing to the digitization and optimization of our payment systems.

In Short

• Work and negotiate with payment providers in the LATAM market, establishing strong partnerships and optimizing payment processes.
• Identify and explore new payment methods, providers, and market opportunities to improve payment accessibility and efficiency.
• Lead payment infrastructure projects, including integration and optimization of payment flows.
• Develop dashboards and reports to track payment performance, approval rates, and transaction monitoring.
• Manage projects and processes, including planning, task distribution, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Directly manage a team of payments analysts and business developers, ensuring clear priorities, accountability, and professional growth.

Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in a business development role or related fields, preferably with experience working with payment providers and payment systems.
• Strong understanding of online and mobile payments, including card schemes, local payment methods, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience in managing payment infrastructure and integrating payment gateways.
• Experience in team leadership with a track record of managing and developing direct reports.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and identify key product growth and optimization opportunities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.
