Overview

The Strategic Finance & Operations Lead will serve as a key advisor and operator within Trial Library’s leadership team, blending financial expertise with business operations to drive strategic decisions and organizational efficiency.

In Short

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare financial reports for internal leadership and investors.
• Partner with accounting for financial closings and audits.
• Monitor key business metrics for decision-making.
• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team.
• Develop financial and operational models for new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with HR on payroll budgeting and benefits administration.
• Support process improvement across finance and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics preferred.
• 5-8 years in finance, strategy, or business operations experience.
• Strong FP&A and operational finance background required.
• Hands-on experience with financial systems.
• Skilled in developing executive-level presentations.
• Excellent communicator with data synthesis skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with QuickBooks, SalesForce, Monday.com.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
