Senior Software Developer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Software Developer at TransUnion will work closely with diverse engineering and product teams to ensure the delivery of features as part of the OneTru Platform team, bringing technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of TU products.

• Work with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain cloud and desktop business applications.
• Design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale solutions.
• Review requirements and data models to translate into applications and architecture.
• Guide and support team members through code review and pair programming.
• Write well-defined, testable/unit-tested code.
• Support deployment of solutions in multi-environment configurations.
• Participate in platform and application architecture discussions.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate and communicate openly across functional borders.
• Mentor others on Scrum teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of Software Development experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages: Java (4+ years), Scala, JavaScript.
• Experience with Java frameworks like Spring Boot and REST.
• Knowledge of Cloud concepts, AWS, GCP.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficient in front-end development with frameworks like Vue, React, or Angular.
• Experience with Continuous Deployment and Automated Testing.
