Staff Attorney - Remote

Overview

The Staff Attorney will provide direct legal support to LGBTQ asylum seekers in the Tijuana/San Diego region, focusing on immigration services and community education.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Experience in immigration law.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Understanding of LGBTQ and immigrant communities.
• Strong writing and legal research skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Willingness to travel and work outside regular hours.
• Experience with pro-bono work is preferred.
• Admission to the bar of at least one state is preferred.
• Experience with community education and outreach.
