Operational Research Developer - Remote

Overview

The Operational Research Developer is responsible for the technical analysis and implementation of advanced optimization algorithms, developing reports and data visualization tools to support revenue management initiatives.

• Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of pseudo-code for revenue management initiatives.
• Make recommendations to improve the design and quality of optimization algorithms.
• Critically review requirements to identify inconsistencies and make suggestions.
• Design and develop dashboards and reports to evaluate algorithm performance.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other teams to solve problems.
• Document deliverables related to algorithm development.

Requirements

• University degree in Operational Research, Computer Science, Statistics, or similar quantitative discipline.
• Strong experience in coding algorithms using DevOps tools like Git, JIRA, CI/CD.
• Experience applying sophisticated statistical and machine learning methods on complex datasets.
• Ability to implement mathematical models using high-level programming languages such as R or Python.
• Responsible for tasks, follow-ups, and prioritizing effectively.
• Maintain a positive work environment and collaborate closely with supervisors and colleagues.
• Work independently on projects within tight deadlines.
