Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Toro Company is seeking a Data Engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams and implement data-driven solutions, focusing on developing and maintaining data pipelines and ensuring data accuracy and security.

In Short

• Collaborate with teams to identify data solutions.
• Design and maintain data pipelines using Fivetran and dbt.
• Implement and manage Snowflake data warehouse.
• Work with data science and analytics teams for data reliability.
• Create and maintain documentation for data processes.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipeline performance.
• Participate in code reviews and best practices.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience for Data Engineer II; 5+ years for Data Engineer III.
• Strong experience with Fivetran, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience migrating from SQL Server to Snowflake is a plus.
