Warehouse Senior Industrial Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position supports the Ryder Continuous Improvement culture across the operation by actively applying continuous improvement methods to support new and existing operations.

In Short

• Identify and drive change within operations through data-driven continuous improvement.
• Collect and analyze data to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
• Develop and manage continuous improvement plans to enhance performance metrics.
• Manage CI and engineering projects for improved business results.
• Coach employees on Lean methods and CI principles.
• Implement and maintain a Quality Management System.
• Support automation projects and process improvement activities.
• Facilitate Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen Events.
• Provide regular reports on data and progress against objectives.
• Collaborate with operations management and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain required.
• Five years of related experience in Warehousing, Transportation, or Manufacturing.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Intermediate skills in data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
• Experience with Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
• Understanding of warehouse design tools and automation solutions.
• Knowledge of supply chain and transportation design tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects.
• Flexibility and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
