Industrial Engineer - Remote

Overview

As an Industrial Engineer, you will develop improvements in Kohl’s extensive, national multi-distribution center network, provide analytical support and execute change initiatives that significantly impact the organization.

In Short

• Support designing new facilities and retrofits.
• Recommend process improvement opportunities.
• Assist with transportation optimization initiatives.
• Maintain and enhance labor management programs.
• Provide budget reports and negotiate pricing.
• Implement improvements by coordinating vendor activities.
• Provide troubleshooting support for vendor systems.
• Support the engineering needs of distribution centers.
• Occasional travel to support peak business operations.
• Additional tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

• Experience with statistical analysis and work measurement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to multitask across multiple projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• Previous experience in distribution/manufacturing engineering preferred.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Previous experience with SQL preferred.
• Confident decision-making and leadership skills.
• On-call responsibility and flexible schedule.
