Overview

As a Machine Learning Engineer II at Kohl's, you will support cross-functional teams in designing and implementing machine learning solutions while contributing to internal tools and best practices.

In Short

• Support the integration of Data Science models into customer-facing solutions.
• Contribute to the roadmap for Data Science and Machine Learning Engineering tools.
• Design and implement monitoring and alerting systems for model performance.
• Mentor junior machine learning engineers and foster a culture of learning.
• Optimize and fine-tune models for peak performance and accuracy.
• Stay updated on GCP services and best practices for ML implementations.
• Work closely with Data Scientists to scale ETL workflows and models.
• Utilize Agile/XP software development methodologies.
• Leverage CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Document and communicate throughout the data science lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Science or analytics.
• 3+ years as a Machine Learning Engineer with successful project delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services.
• Extensive expertise in Python and machine learning libraries.
• Experience with distributed computing and big data technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile/XP software development practices.
• Master’s Degree or Ph.D. preferred.
• Proficiency in Java/Scala is a plus.
• Retail and e-commerce experience preferred.
