Full-Stack Developer - Remote

We’re seeking a dedicated Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic software development team in Edmonton, AB. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in building intuitive, responsive web interfaces that directly support our mission in mental healthcare. In Short

• Develop Software: Design, write, and deploy high-quality JavaScript applications integrated with Python/Django backends.
• Build responsive, mobile-first web interfaces using React and Next.js, ensuring performance and accessibility across all devices.
• Accurately translate Figma design files into pixel-perfect, production-ready React components.
• Design scalable APIs and data models in Python/Django that can handle complex, data-heavy workflows.
• Work closely with product and design to shape features from idea to production.
• Set up and maintain Docker-based dev/test environments and GCP infrastructure.
• Optimize performance and reliability of SQL queries and backend services.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Recommend and implement enhancements, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices.

Requirements

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and Django.
• Experience with React and Next.js.
• Familiarity with Docker and GCP infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of SQL and performance optimization.
• Ability to translate design files into functional web applications.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience in project management and handling multiple projects.
• Mentorship experience is a plus.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Edmonton.
