Overview

As a Sales Representative (Account Executive) at Top Hat, you will have the opportunity to change the future of education by developing relationships with professors and showcasing the value of our educational platform.

In Short

  • Develop relationships with professors in assigned colleges and universities.
  • Convert professors into clients by demonstrating the value of Top Hat's products.
  • Travel to campuses within your territory for in-person sales.
  • Work closely with Sales Development Representatives and Customer Success Managers.
  • Utilize inside and outside sales techniques to position Top Hat’s value proposition.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including cold calling and closing deals.
  • Maintain a metrics-driven approach to sales performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a great customer experience.
  • Be highly motivated and achievement-oriented.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License for travel requirements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume sales role.
  • Experience selling to professors in person is preferred.
  • Ability to drive and close large/complex deals.
  • Experience in a metrics-driven environment.
  • Strong ability to interpret and apply feedback quickly.
  • Ambitious with a drive to succeed.
  • Positive attitude when facing objections.
