Senior Developer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Developer to join our team and contribute to the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring strong back-end and full-stack experience, an understanding of legacy systems, and leadership in technical mentorship.

In Short

• Lead and contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable web applications and features.
• Work closely with the Product Development Manager to align sprint work with roadmap goals.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
• Collaborate with QA, support, and product teams to triage and resolve issues.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to the team’s technical knowledge base.
• Support legacy applications while contributing to modernization efforts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and help improve team processes and coding standards.
• Help maintain database performance through optimized stored procedures and SQL design.
• Set up and maintain a local development environment and contribute to DevOps practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5 years of experience with PHP.
• 2-3 years of experience with .NET & C#.
• Strong proficiency in MS SQL (T-SQL), JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery.
• Experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, and database design.
• Experience with Git/Gitlab, CI/CD, AWS, Docker.
• Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, IIS/Apache web servers, and security best practices.
• Exposure to ColdFusion is a plus.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
