As an Alumni Communications Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering relationships with clients, aiding them in achieving their communication and fundraising milestones.

In Short

  • Drive impactful direct-mail campaigns and alumni relations programs.
  • Foster relationships with clients to achieve communication and fundraising goals.
  • Collaborate on content and messaging for alumni communications.
  • Proofread and guide clients on best practices for fundraising.
  • Manage projects including newsletters and client publications.
  • Research and maintain database integrity for client information.
  • Analyze donor gifts and generate fundraising reports.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to review team tasks.
  • Support department projects and maintain positive interactions.
  • Available for travel to Lawrence, KS for onboarding.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent or four years of fundraising experience.
  • Self-motivated with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in directing clients through various communication channels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Background in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Experience with collegiate organizations is beneficial.
