Overview

Toast is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Android OS team, which builds a platform for the Toast POS device. The role involves leading the development of Android OS features and collaborating with various teams to enhance restaurant technology.

Requirements

• 8 years of Android OS development experience.
• Experience with AOSP architecture and custom AIDL interfaces.
• Knowledge of BSP development and Linux device tree configuration.
• Experience designing large scale software systems for Android.
• Ability to work with Hardware teams on product schematics.
• Proficient in Java and C or C++.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and source control tools.
• Familiarity with SOC vendors.
