Mechanical Lead Architect - Remote

Overview

As the Mechanical Lead Architect, you will oversee the Mechanical Engineering design initiatives, encompassing the conceptualization, architecture, design, development, new product introduction (NPI), and ongoing engineering support for our products.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the development of POS, Payment, Android or comparable devices is essential.
• Proficiency in working with injection molded components, castings, sheet metal parts, and electromechanical devices is necessary.
• Practical experience in prototype development, debugging, functional verification, and manufacturing support is expected.
• The ability to identify root causes of design, manufacturability, or production challenges is crucial.
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) team, Operation team, Manufacturing team, Quality team and Supply Chain team is mandatory.
• Full experience of 3D CAD, CREO with Database management by Windchill.
• Travel (internationally and domestically) is a must, up to 25% of work hours.
