Compliance Research Coordinator - Remote

Overview

TimelyCare is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Research Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our telehealth services comply with relevant laws and regulations, particularly concerning the treatment of minors, record-keeping, reporting requirements, and provider licensing.

In Short

• Support the Director of Compliance and Risk in maintaining an effective compliance program.
• Conduct thorough research on healthcare, data privacy, and telemedicine laws.
• Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
• Stay updated on compliance requirements for vulnerable populations.
• Compile and maintain compliance documentation.
• Prepare reports for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in developing compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine compliance audits and assessments.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
• Act as a role model for excellence in legal and compliance matters.

Requirements

• Knowledge of laws affecting telehealth practices.
• Experience in legal research.
• Experience in writing and reviewing policies.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into plain language.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• 2-3 years of experience in compliance research.
• Certification in healthcare compliance is a plus.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and legal research databases.
• High attention to detail and confidentiality.
