Senior QA Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

Tietoevry Create is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a Telecom Team for our client BICS, a global telecommunications enabler.

In Short

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for backend and frontend scenarios.
• Conduct end-to-end testing activities including regression testing and release.
• Validate functional and technical design documents.
• Collaborate in an agile environment (Scrum) with international teams.
• Stay updated on best practices in automated testing.
• Proficient in Java, SQL, and test automation for API/backend scenarios.
• Experience with GIT, CI (Jenkins), and Maven.
• Good knowledge of testing theory and agile principles.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and experience with Playwright is a plus.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Java core.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience in test automation for API/backend scenarios.
• Experience with GIT, CI (Jenkins), and Maven.
• Good knowledge of testing theory and agile principles.
• Ability to communicate proactively and manage time effectively.
• Practical experience with low-level tests automation.
• Familiarity with Jira and Zephyr for Jira is a plus.
• Experience with AI for QA is an advantage.
