Shopify Operations Manager - Remote

Overview

We are hiring a highly autonomous and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an e-commerce business, ensuring smooth operations across financials, customer experience, and operational performance.

In Short

• Manage and develop relationships with 3PL partners for order fulfillment.
• Oversee inventory matching and customer experience.
• Monitor inventory levels and trends for forecasting.
• Calculate and manage monthly COGS for financial planning.
• Lead and mentor the offshore customer service team.
• Analyze subscription patterns and operational KPIs.
• Work autonomously with limited supervision.
• Utilize various software and tools for operations management.
• Experience in a subscription-based business is preferred.
• Proficiency in project management tools is required.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of freelancing experience.
• 5+ years in operations management, preferably in e-commerce.
• Strong experience managing Shopify stores.
• Analytical thinker with financial and customer experience knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1/C2 level).
• Experience in time zone-sensitive operations.
• Proficiency in project management and operational tools.
