Director of Implementation Engineering - Remote

Overview

This position will be responsible for leading Thrive’s Implementation Engineering teams while continuously evaluating and enhancing processes for scale.

In Short

• Oversee multiple teams within Thrive’s Implementation Engineering organization.
• Develop project scopes and products with standardized pricing, workflows and outcomes.
• Serve as a management escalation point.
• Collaborate with functionally adjacent teams on process design and efficiency enhancements.
• Build and maintain a positive team culture focused on enriching the client experience.
• Build and maintain a management structure focused on accountability and perpetual improvement.
• Hire, train and mentor Implementation Engineering Managers.
• Effectively communicate with Sales, Account Management, Solution Architects and Project Managers.
• Perform managerial and administrative responsibilities including client service escalations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• 2-4 years management experience.
• Advanced experience (4+ years) across Microsoft 365 Suite of Services.
• Public Cloud, specifically Azure Infrastructure.
• Private Cloud, specifically VMWare hypervisors.
• Network Infrastructure, specifically Fortigate firewalls and Meraki cloud solutions.
• Experience implementing Managed Service and IT solutions.
• Expert understanding of cloud computing, networking, cyber security concepts.
