As a Payments Risk Credit Analyst at Cloudbeds, you’ll play a key role in protecting the company and hotel partners while scaling rapidly. This impactful role involves owning problems end-to-end and navigating the complexities of a hyper-growth fintech environment.

• Assess merchant financials, payment flows, and credit risk indicators.
• Recommend credit limits, reserves, and payout hold thresholds.
• Analyze chargeback and refund trends to detect emerging risks.
• Review entity changes for financial impact.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk Ops, and Legal to refine credit policy.
• Support audits and ongoing credit policy reviews.
• 3+ years in payments risk or merchant acquiring.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools.
• Clear communication of complex risk issues.
• High attention to detail and action-oriented.

Requirements

• Strong experience with risk frameworks for payment processors.
• Experience with SMB credit risk or merchant underwriting.
• Bonus skills include a background in fintech or hospitality payments.
• Familiarity with chargeback processes and risk modeling tools.
• Risk certifications are a plus.
