Overview

Thimble is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) for our Broker distribution channel. This role is a fully remote position, reporting to the Head of Broker Distribution.

In Short

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Focus on market penetration in assigned territory.
  • Manage overall program and agency management.
  • Acquire new partners and manage existing partnerships.
  • Achieve metrics across KPIs including New and Total Written Premium.
  • Work with strategic agency partnerships such as Agency Networks and Alliances.
  • Collaborate with the Acquisition Team.
  • Report to the Head of Broker Distribution.
  • Fully remote position.

Requirements

  • Experience in business development or sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple partnerships effectively.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Familiarity with insurance or insurtech is a plus.
  • Analytical skills to track and report on KPIs.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
