Payroll Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the preparation and execution of payroll processes for employees across multiple departments or entities.

• Process and administer end-to-end payroll for all employees.
• Maintain accurate employee records including new hires and terminations.
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
• Solid understanding of payroll principles and labor laws.
• Proficiency in payroll software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, Sage).
• Strong numerical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience within the financial services industry is preferred.
