Overview

The Wonderful Company is seeking a dedicated Associate, Philanthropy Communications to develop and execute internal and external communications strategies that elevate its philanthropy and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

• Develop communications plans to raise visibility around philanthropy initiatives.
• Research speaking opportunities for executives.
• Manage content for the philanthropy website and social media.
• Track media coverage and manage media lists.
• Create communication assets and materials.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure alignment with company values.
• Conduct competitive brand research in philanthropy.
• Assist with the development of engaging presentations.
• Handle projects from start to finish under tight deadlines.
• Travel to California’s Central Valley as needed.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of communications experience in public relations or corporate communications.
• Experience in a non-profit or philanthropic organization is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or related field.
• Ability to write in Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of AP style and PR tools.
• Experience with social media content development.
• Familiarity with editing tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Impeccable attention to detail.
• High emotional IQ and discretion with confidential material.
