Overview

The Communications Associate will support the communications team in various written communications and visual media materials, providing onsite and remote federal program leadership.

In Short

Support the communications team in written and visual media materials.
Assist in creating and executing communications strategies.
Monitor and track media.
Develop materials for the media, including press releases and newsletters.
Schedule media engagements for principals.

Requirements

US Citizenship required for Public Trust.
5+ years of experience in communications strategy.
Experience with media opportunities and translating technical concepts.
Experience with media and journalists.
Experience in developing strategic media and communications plans.
Experience with visual media and video editing.
Strong creative writing and editing skills.
Experience coordinating across organizations.
Knowledge of clean energy and climate change policy.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Products.
