Cloud Infrastructure Administrator - Remote

Overview

The Cloud Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, management, and support of both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure across the organization. This includes virtualization platforms, cloud environments, networking systems, security infrastructure, and enterprise services. The Analyst ensures reliable performance, security, scalability, and continuous improvement of the infrastructure ecosystem to meet evolving business demands.

In Short

• Support the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions with emphasis on Microsoft Azure & Virtualization.
• Administer vSphere virtualization, ensuring high availability and optimal performance across virtual machines.
• Oversee Palo Alto Networks firewalls, ensuring security policies and traffic inspection are maintained.
• Manage secure and scalable network environments using Meraki and UniFi solutions.
• Maintain and monitor storage and backup systems, including Rubrik and other hybrid solutions.
• Collaborate with business units to scale and optimize infrastructure supporting critical applications and services.
• Support virtualization for field services including NCR PXE boot and endpoint deployments.
• Oversee and manage Verkada connectivity for physical security systems.
• Track, escalate, and resolve service tickets using internal and MSP ticketing systems.
• Lead and execute annual hardware refresh projects.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• 3+ years in IT with experience supporting both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Expertise in Virtualization (vSphere/VMware, PXE booting).
• Networking experience with Meraki, UniFi, Palo Alto, Zscaler.
• Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of security and surveillance systems (Verkada).
• Experience with disaster recovery (Zerto, Rubrik).
• Endpoint and server administration skills (Windows Server, Active Directory, Intune).
• Experience with ticketing systems and service lifecycle management.
