Overview

The People Operations Manager at The Shed is responsible for managing HR programs and processes, ensuring efficient business operations and supporting staff development.

In Short

Manage HR core functional areas including benefits, recruitment, and compliance.
Oversee HRIS database administration.
Liaise with staff on People Operations issues.
Partner with department leaders on HR initiatives.
Manage employee relations and investigations.
Strategize on employee engagement initiatives.
Support staff inquiries and requests.
Assist with training initiatives related to HR policies.
Manage performance appraisal programs.
Provide support to the Chief People Officer.

Requirements

8+ years of HR/People Operations experience.
Experience in people management and coaching.
Start-up/entrepreneurial drive preferred.
Experience with ADP HRIS and Greenhouse ATS.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Attention to detail and multitasking ability.
Strong understanding of employment laws.
