Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Knot Worldwide is seeking a Security Engineer to strengthen its security operations and address both technical and programmatic security issues.

In Short

• Work with Engineering teams to manage vulnerabilities and conduct cloud security reviews.
• Build secure and scalable architectures in the cloud.
• Respond to security concerns from various business units.
• Implement information security controls and develop secure architectures.
• Identify and mitigate risks in corporate and production environments.
• Provide technical support for security-related issues.
• Develop internal security tools and procedures.
• Conduct security awareness training for development teams.
• Provide security guidance and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of security architecture experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Akamai WAF and Bot Management.
• 2+ years in application security for web and API architectures.
• Hands-on experience securing cloud applications (AWS preferred).
• Understanding of security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
• Knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Background in system, network, and application security.
