Overview

The Segment Risk Manager is responsible for oversight and administration of operational and regulatory risk strategy programs for Huntington Insurance Inc and HBI Title Services.

In Short

  • Evaluate effectiveness of controls and escalate as appropriate.
  • Direct self-monitoring and testing activities.
  • Evaluate adequacy of enterprise and regulatory controls.
  • Deliver timely escalation of issues to senior management.
  • Collaborate with audit/business segment/corporate risk.
  • Act as central point for risk information distribution.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Insurance, Compliance, or Risk Management.
  • Insurance Licenses for Personal and Commercial Business lines preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of risk management principles.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
