International Finance Manager - Remote

HALO is seeking an experienced and motivated International Finance Manager (IFM) to join its new programme in Papua New Guinea (PNG). This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a humanitarian programme from its inception.

In Short

• Full-time, permanent contract based in Papua New Guinea.
• Key role in the start-up and delivery of donor-funded projects.
• Ensure financial integrity and contractual compliance.

Requirements

• Experience in financial management, preferably in a humanitarian context.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning and accounting principles.
• Ability to work in complex operational environments.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing donor contracts and compliance.
• Ability to lead and develop finance teams.
• Understanding of local tax and financial regulations.
• Willingness to relocate to Papua New Guinea.
