IRB Associate Director - Remote

Overview

The Institutional Review Board (IRB) Associate Director will assist with the administrative activities related to the review of human subject research at The Chicago School.

In Short

• Assist in processing research applications for IRB review.
• Conduct preliminary reviews of IRB applications for compliance.
• Respond to inquiries from students and faculty regarding research.
• Review requests for IRB Exemption and Modification Requests.
• Prepare documents and attend IRB meetings.
• Draft minutes from IRB meetings.
• Maintain the IRB database.
• Assist in conducting training sessions for students and faculty.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Adjust to changing needs and prioritize work effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IRB Administration.
• Certified IRB Professional or willingness to obtain certification.
• Knowledge of OHRP regulations regarding human research participants.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
