Associate Director I - Remote

Overview

The Associate Director I (AD I) position will operate under the supervision of the Director to support the direction of live Studio, Remote, and REMI productions by assisting with the execution and timing of the show, and the preparation and assembly of elements of the show.

In Short

• Assist the Director during live productions by timing elements and coordinating feeds.
• Maintain communication with live shots and ensure audio/video levels meet on-air standards.
• Assist in routing and framing for remote guests during productions.
• Coordinate pre-production elements including graphics and special effects.
• Request images and monitor graphics to support storylines.
• Execute studio moves and manage game-related responsibilities during REMI productions.
• Generate promotional cards for talent to read on air.
• Train newer Associate Directors and provide feedback for their development.
• Demonstrate strong leadership qualities in all interactions.
• Maintain performance standards within the Directing Department.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year related work experience in television production.
• Clear verbal communication skills and ability to think quickly under pressure.
• Detail-oriented and passionate about production.
• Preferred: Minimum 3 years of production experience or experience at the network level.
• Directing experience and automation experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
