Overview

The Manufacturing Manager (Level K) at The Boeing Company is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of technicians in the production of satellite hardware, ensuring efficiency and coordination across various departments.

In Short

  • Manage day-to-day activities of up to 20 technicians.
  • Coordinate support across production, engineering, program management, and quality assurance.
  • Improve material delivery efficiency to customers.
  • Implement cost and schedule saving initiatives.
  • Resolve conflicts that hinder factory operations.
  • Requires on-site presence at the El Segundo factory.
  • May involve up to 10% travel.
  • Drug-free workplace with testing policies in place.

Requirements

  • More than 1 year of experience in leadership roles.
  • Experience in Operations, Materials Management, or Supply Chain.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience in cross-functional environments.
  • Experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems.
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by export control compliance.
  • Relocation assistance is not available.
