Senior Accountant & Client Manager - Remote

We are seeking an ambitious, tech-savvy Senior Accountant & Client Manager to take a leading role within our growing team. In Short

• Manage and nurture a portfolio of clients with a focus on tailored, value-added services.
• Provide high-level financial and business advice, using data-driven insights.
• Maintain strong relationships, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and retention.
• Lead and mentor a team including offshore support staff.
• Oversee the preparation of year-end accounts, tax returns, and VAT filings.
• Utilise Xero, Dext, and TaxCalc to prepare accounts efficiently.
• Embrace AI tools and automation software to drive process improvement.
• Provide advisory support on tax planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance standards are met while embedding advisory thinking into all services.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing staff or teams.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
• 5–7 years' experience in a senior accounting role.
• Expertise in Xero and Dext.
• Demonstrable use of AI tools in accounting workflows.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to engage clients.
