Sales Planner - Remote

Overview

The Sales Planner will support the Advertising Sales & Strategy teams by creating compelling media offerings and managing the digital process workflow for advertising campaigns.

In Short

• Support development of RFP process for advertising campaigns.
• Build and revise media plans and negotiate Terms & Conditions.
• Manage digital workflow from RFP to IO.
• Ensure all approvals are secured and documented.
• Attend product training to understand The Athletic’s offerings.
• Assist with campaign kick-off management.
• Field and resolve customer complaints.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
• Communicate account information to management.
• Support team members as needed.

Requirements

• 1-2+ years media experience.
• BS/BA degree or related field.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of advertising and digital media.
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications.
• Motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to communicate planning processes effectively.
