Overview

The Mortgage Loan Originator Team Lead is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans and supporting the loan production efforts within the branch.

• Position Type: Part Time, Commission Only
• Originate mortgage loans in accordance with company guidelines
• Conduct borrower interviews to gather financial information
• Evaluate applicant financial documents for loan programs
• Educate clients on loan products and procedures
• Submit complete loan applications for approval
• Maintain accurate records in the loan origination system
• Ensure timely follow-up with clients and underwriters
• Collaborate with internal departments for loan closings
• Meet productivity and quality goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
• Valid NMLS license as required by state and federal regulations
• Previous experience in mortgage lending preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with loan origination systems and Microsoft Office
