Mortgage Loan Originator - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mortgage Loan Originator who wants to work remotely and has a deep understanding of the mortgage industry.

In Short

• Qualify and originate mortgage loan applicants.
• Initiate compliance process with applicable standards, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct business development activities.
• Provide service to existing mortgage loan customers.
• Facilitate the closing process.
• Work online leads shifts as assigned.
• Participate in required BSA training.
• Maintain knowledge of real estate products and mortgage lending.
• Assist retail lending department as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Meet NMLS requirements for MLOs.
• 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years’ experience in mortgage loan originations or significant experience in the real estate industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player with strong computer skills.
• Ability to present information effectively.
• Respect for confidentiality of customer data.
