Overview

The Technical Sales Advisor is responsible for developing the position of Tessenderlo Kerley International in the fertilizer market in Belgium and The Netherlands, focusing on sales of high-quality crop nutrition products.

In Short

  • Develop and propose sales and development strategies.
  • Gather knowledge of the market and competitor movements.
  • Identify and develop unique selling propositions.
  • Propose distributor strategies and implement agreements.
  • Accountable for administrative sales and technical tasks.
  • Develop and maintain a network of technical & sales contacts.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Manage a program of product field trials.
  • Prepare an annual sales and marketing budget.
  • Engage in industry organizations and networking opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Agronomy/Agriculture/Agricultural engineering.
  • 3 to 5 years commercial experience in agriculture.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of agricultural practices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and social media channels.
  • Required languages: Dutch, English; French is a plus.
