Overview

As a Staff Accountant at TerrAscend, you will provide month-end close support, balance sheet reconciliation, and process improvement in line with the company's standard operating procedures. In Short

• Provide month-end close support for multiple entities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of accounts.
• Collaborate with internal departments on inventory management processes.
• Assist in financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review journal entries and accruals.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis and respond to inquiries from stakeholders.
• Work with accounts payable and purchasing departments.
• Support and train accounting peers.
• Utilize ERP systems and accounting software.
• Emphasize accuracy and completeness in all tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or CPA Candidate preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience in manufacturing or retail preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with a focus on accuracy and task completion.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Team player with problem-solving skills.
