Training & Education Lead - Remote

Overview

The Training & Education Lead at Tern will be responsible for building and evolving the education and enablement strategy, creating training content, and ensuring user success on the Tern platform.

• Design and execute scalable training programs for diverse user segments.
• Create engaging learning content including tutorials and webinars.
• Partner with teams to identify user knowledge gaps.
• Monitor training effectiveness through feedback and metrics.
• Lead live training sessions for new customers and internal teams.
• Manage the Tern Expert training ambassador program.
• Build and manage a user education hub or LMS.
• Stay updated on product changes and evolve training materials.
• Collaborate with product marketing on training assets for feature launches.
• Own and evolve the Learning Management System.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in training and education in a tech environment.
• Experience in instructional design and content creation.
• Strong track record managing multiple education channels.
• Proven ability to build educational programs from scratch.
• Strong instructional design skills with an understanding of adult learning principles.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts.
• Empathy for users and a desire to help others succeed.
• Familiarity with LMS and support tools like Intercom.
• Collaborative mindset with experience in cross-team partnerships.
• Bonus: Experience in travel technology or B2B platforms.
