Overview

The Forward Deployed Engineer at TENEX is responsible for ensuring seamless technical delivery, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the company's cybersecurity solutions. This role emphasizes strong technical expertise and direct customer engagement.

In Short

• Work directly with customers to implement and integrate TENEX’s security solutions.
• Lead deployment of data shipping technologies and ensure proper configuration.
• Develop and maintain Logstash pipelines for reliable parsing of security logs.
• Provide hands-on technical support for deployment and operation.
• Collaborate with Security Operations and Engineering teams to tailor solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in data ingestion, normalization, and automation.
• Develop automation scripts to enhance deployment efficiency.
• Design and maintain custom data parsers for security logs.
• Conduct technical onboarding sessions for new customers.
• Act as a technical advisor to maximize customer value from TENEX’s offerings.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud engineering, or DevOps.
• Experience in data ingestion, normalization, and automation.
• Strong understanding of security technologies like SIEM and cloud security.
• Proficiency with Google SecOps and Logstash.
• Experience with data pipeline technologies and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
