Cybersecurity Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, coupled with experience in leveraging AI and machine learning (ML) technologies, particularly in the context of Google’s SecOps platform, to enhance the detection, analysis, and response to security incidents.

In Short

• Monitor security alerts and events across the enterprise network.
• Perform triage, investigation, and correlation of security events.
• Utilize Google Chronicle for threat intelligence and log analysis.
• Investigate and analyze security incidents and breaches.
• Respond to security incidents following established procedures.
• Work with Google SecOps platform tools to streamline security operations.
• Develop and maintain automated workflows for common security incidents.
• Create detailed reports on incidents and threat intelligence summaries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with security analytics and incident response.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and frameworks.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools such as IDS and SIEM.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
