Cybersecurity Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations in securing the Firm’s technology assets, providing technical expertise in network, system, and application security.

In Short

• Monitor and respond to security inquiries and incidents.
• Review and maintain department standards and procedures.
• Troubleshoot security tools and answer inquiries.
• Assess new and existing technologies for potential value and risk.
• Perform forensic/e-discovery investigations.
• Identify improvement opportunities for IT processes and controls.
• Assist in the operationalization of security operations lifecycle.
• Prepare ongoing reports with specified metrics.
• Recommend remediation of security controls.
• Participate in strategic initiatives as directed.

Requirements

• A two-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Two or more relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+).
• Good knowledge of Agile frameworks and SDLC.
• Experience with multiple programming languages (e.g., XML, HTML, CSS).
• Strong communication skills across various platforms.
• Prior experience in security reviews and risk assessments.
• Experience with enterprise-class technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Powershell, Python).
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
