D.A. Davidson Companies is seeking a Data Engineer responsible for expanding and optimizing data architecture, monitoring and troubleshooting data flows, and ensuring best practices in data delivery.

In Short

Expand and optimize data and data pipeline architecture.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and performance tune data flows.
Work alongside software development teams and data analysts.
Build and maintain service-based architecture for data publication.
Define frameworks and best practices for data structures.
Facilitate development of data quality and protection standards.
Perform operational analysis on data processes.
Design and implement internal process improvements.
Experience with SQL-based syntax and relational databases.
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau.

Requirements

2+ years of Data Engineering experience.
Experience in the Financial Services industry.
Advanced TSQL knowledge and experience with relational databases.
Strong analytic skills with complex data pipelines.
Experience with data pipeline tools such as SSIS.
Understanding of data modeling concepts.
Experience with scripting languages like Python and Powershell.
Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and DataOps methodologies.
Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies.
Ability to capture end-user requirements.
