Tempus is seeking a highly qualified undergraduate Next Data & Operations Summer Analyst to work with us for the summer of 2025. We are looking for people who can change the world.

In Short

• Apply skills and knowledge learned in the classroom to on-the-job experiences
• Work on comprehensive, value-added project(s) that help enhance the fields of science and technology
• Collaborate with teams/colleagues in a fast-paced environment
• Gain professional development & build relationships with peers from across the country
• Support performance improvements for a developed product platform
• Support in scaling/development of a novel proof of concept product
• Creation and improvement of provider and life science partner analytics
• Creation of a more sophisticated notification workflow for eligible patients
• Improvements to operational tasks could result in overarching multiweek projects
• Internship duration is 8 to 10 weeks in Chicago office

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an analytical or healthcare-related field
• Experience with SQL (intermediate), Excel (basic or intermediate), and Looker (basic or intermediate)
• Highly organized and systematic with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Google Suite
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
