Overview

The Managed Services Consultant will support Junior Consultants and manage data platforms, ensuring smooth operations and issue resolution for clients.

In Short

  • Act as a technical point of escalation for Junior Consultants and clients.
  • Maintain Cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and maintain systems.
  • Triage and fix data platform incidents and requests.
  • Communicate issues and resolution plans effectively.
  • Manage small development projects for client platforms.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and problem management.
  • Share operational and technical knowledge with the team.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop data skillsets.
  • Work remotely and occasionally outside normal office hours.

Requirements

  • Experience with modern data platform technology, preferably cloud-based (Azure).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI.
  • Strong SQL querying skills.
  • Proactive and organized in a customer-facing environment.
  • Attention to detail and focus on continual improvement.
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Python or another programming language is beneficial.
  • Willingness to learn and share new technologies.
  • Ability to investigate and solve problems effectively.
  • Desire to help others and learn from feedback.
