In Short

  • Lead the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of national fundraising events.
  • Oversee event logistics, budget management, and procurement for successful execution.
  • Develop sponsorship and partnership strategies to secure financial and in-kind support.
  • Establish and maintain a framework for national and regional fundraising events.
  • Manage corporate partnership strategies and engage businesses in fundraising initiatives.
  • Lead execution of online fundraising campaigns, including peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives.
  • Coordinate TR Canada’s presence at conferences and community events.
  • Manage donor recognition and community fundraising events.
  • Negotiate and manage sponsor contracts, nurture donor relations.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to track event success and donor retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Event Management, Communications, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in development, fundraising, and managing events.
  • CFRE designation is beneficial.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing high-profile fundraising events.
  • Expertise in developing strategy and managing a fundraising portfolio.
  • Ability to engage donors and secure funding through various channels.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in fundraising technology and project management tools.
