Overview

The Business Development Associate (BDA) is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a reputable organization which provides fuel card sales for the Fuel Program group at Triumph. The BDA is expected to demonstrate the highest-level sales and professional abilities to ensure accuracy and precision of the sales process.

In Short

  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual financial targets.
  • Identify new prospective customers and generate new accounts.
  • Link Triumph product features and benefits to client needs.
  • Create and conduct effective proposal presentations.
  • Maintain industry knowledge including competitive landscape.
  • Gather and submit detailed business information for underwriting.
  • Negotiate non-standard payment terms with new applicants.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through follow-up.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of new customers.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or 4 years of relevant experience.
  • 1-2 years of direct sales experience preferred.
  • Phone sales experience required.
  • Understanding of the fuel card industry is a plus.
  • High level of verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and communicate complex financial products.
  • Problem-solving skills with a solutions-minded attitude.
  • Bilingual - Spanish/English is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Self-directed with an entrepreneurial approach.
