Consulting Pharmacist - Remote

Overview

This role involves providing specialized pharmacy care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, focusing on long-term care.

In Short

• Remote position with a focus on long-term care pharmacy.
• Attend Psychotropic Drug Review Meetings.
• Audit Intermediate Care facilities.
• Respond to inquiries from nurses and pharmacy staff.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Maintain required licenses and certifications.

• Handle various duties as assigned by the Pharmacist-in-Charge.
• Cover mileage and expenses at 70 cents per mile.
• Available for around 50 hours per month.

Requirements

• Must have a South Carolina Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License.
• Experience with document management systems is preferred.
• Positive attitude and teamwork skills are essential.
• Able to work in a high-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Capability to troubleshoot and de-escalate issues.
