Overview

The Coordinator, Common Elements role involves providing comprehensive assistance and guidance to condominium stakeholders, ensuring effective resolution of claims and maintaining communication with various parties involved in the condominium claim process.

In Short

  • Provide assistance to condominium stakeholders including vendors, builders, and homeowners.
  • Monitor claims throughout the builder repair period.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved.
  • Make decisions on common element claims.
  • Issue various reports and schedules related to claims.
  • Work in a hybrid model with two days in the office and three days remote.
  • Support customer service initiatives.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and negotiating skills.
  • Utilize strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum Community College Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years customer service experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • General knowledge of relevant Ontario laws is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Ontario Building Codes is an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities.
