Legal Counsel, Energy Trading - Remote

Overview

Targray is seeking a Legal Counsel, Energy Trading in Poland to provide pragmatic, business-focused support for our environmental commodities and clean-fuels trading.

In Short

• 100% remote position with occasional travel.
• Negotiate and manage commercial/trading contracts.
• Translate evolving regulations into clear documentation and processes.
• Handle early dispute matters.
• Collaborate with Trading, Operations, Risk, Treasury, and Tax.
• Enhance legal templates and contract-management processes.
• 3-5 years experience in energy/commodities.
• Excellent drafting skills and commercial judgment required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills necessary.
• Proactive and collaborative approach needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B., J.D. or equivalent) from a recognized university.
• 3-5 years’ experience in the energy and physical commodities industry.
• Experience negotiating NAESB and EFET documentation.
• Experience with emissions allowance trading contracts.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and commercial awareness.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced trading environment.
